Haus Edelweiss
Our home was built by the owner over
a period of years from 1986-1990. The
guest rooms upstairs were completed in
2006. The home features a very open
floor plan, balconies, lots of wood, and
many windows looking out over orchard,
field, and ponds.

About Us
The owners/innkeepers are Walt and Anne Rinderle.
Walt is a retired university professor who studied in Innsbruck, Austria; Dijon,
France; and U.S. universities of Notre Dame, Chicago, Yale, Villanova, Indiana, and
Indiana State. He taught many subjects (including History, Personal Finance,
Philosophy, German, and Religion) is the author of several books and is widely traveled.
Anne is a retired social worker, teacher, and recreation director/instructor (swimming
and skiing). While not as widely traveled as her husband, has toured Europe and lived
throughout the U.S. while an officer in the U.S. Navy
